Model #FEF10 Our most popular fogger! The Alpha 900 is the lowest priced of all Rosco fog machines, but it has a large volume for such a small machine. Weighing less than 12 lb. (5 kg), the Alpha 900 delivers quite a punch for a machine with a 1000 watt heater. The Alpha 900 is operated from a hand held remote attached to a 30 ft. (9 m) cord which has a simple ON/OFF switch. Alternatively, the machine can be operated from an optional Wireless Remote Control that can run the machine from 30 ft. (9 m). Models #FEF11-FEF13 The Rosco Model 1700 fog machine is a high quality machine - with radical improvements and lower cost. Every feature of the Rosco Model 1700 has been evaluated and state-of-the-art technology applied to give long-life reliability and high performance. The machine delivers fog output equal to, or more, than previous fog machines, but in keeping with modern practice, draws low power - 1190W. The Rosco Model 1700 has a remote control stored on board, with a 5-meter lead and fine control for volume as well as on-board timers. In addition, the Model 1700 can be operated from a lighting control board through an optional DMX interface. Another feature of the Model 1700 is that it can easily be daisy chained, allowing up to 4 machines to be operated from a single remote control. The fog outlet cowling accepts the standard Rosco hose adaptor and ducting hose system. Like most Rosco fog machines, the Model 1700 can be operated with the Rosco Chiller Module or Rosco Coldflow for low-lying chilled fog. The Model 1700 gives a high burst of fog and then ramps back to give continuous fog at any volume setting with no interruption for a reheat cycle. With few replacement parts this machines proves to be an easy machine to service and maintain. The Rosco model 1700 accepts either the 4L or 2.5L Rosco Fog Fluid bottle, which makes it accessible to the entire range of Rosco fluids. Model #FEF14 Rosco's Model 4500 Fog Machine was developed for situations where a high volume of dense fog is required. The machine has an incredible output unequaled by any other fog machines. The Model 4500 utilizes most of the quality components which have proven so reliable in other Rosco fog machines. The high volume of fog is generated by combining three heat exchangers fed by a powerful peristaltic pump. The speed of the pump is controlled electronically, thus controlling the volume of the fog. The Model 4500 features an internal 1.5 liter tank for fluid. The fluid level in the internal tank can be monitored from outside the machine. Users who prefer to supply fluid from larger external containers, for continuous operation, can do so easily with a simple hose connection. The 4500 has an extensive array of controls and indicator lights on the back of the machine, secured under metal cover. There is a remote control included as standard equipment with the machine which permits operation from as far away as 100 feet (3m). Also available is an optional Super Remote that includes a programmable sequencer as well as a DMX Interface. The machine is available in both 120 volt and 240 volt models. Chiller Module
Model #FEF15 The Rosco Chiller Module, used with Rosco Stage and Studio Fluid, allows you to produce low-lying fog with variable densities on demand. The matte black Chiller Module is crafted in a textured, high-impact polymer. It is equipped with a metal basket for dry ice, a 25' (7.5 m.) power cord, a 24V in-line fan, and speed control. The operation of the system is simple. Attach the 5 ft. (1.5 m) ducting hose that is included with the Chiller Module to a Hose Adaptor (sold separately) affixed to the front of a Rosco fog machine. Attach the other end of the hose to the inlet port of the Chiller Module. As the fog output of the machine enters the Chiller Module, it is cooled by the dry ice in the basket. The density of the emerging fog can be controlled with a fan via a knob on the remote control unit. The fan has a capacity of between 0 and 95 cubic feet per minute, so a wide variety of effects are possible. Using Ducting Hose, you can transport the output of the chiller Module to the location you want. Rosco's Ducting Hose will slip over the outlet port of the Module. When dry ice is not available, ordinary ice may be used. The Chiller Module will not leak as the ice melts, but water should be emptied or siphoned off frequently, and should not be allowed to accumulate to a height of more than 6" (60cm). Models #FEF16-FEF18 The Standard Remote can be used as a replacement for the Model 1600 and Model 4500 Rosco fog machines. The Super Remote is a timed remote to allow "hands free" operation of a Rosco fog machine. With timed sequencers that allow the operator to control "ON TIME" from 0 seconds to 90 seconds and "OFF TIME" from 5 seconds to 10 minutes, the Super Remote also has volume control. The Super Remote simply plugs into the 7-pin remote jack located on the fog machine and does not require any other interface. For use with the Model 1600 and Model 4500 fog machines. Can also be used with the PF-1000 Remote Head Fogger (not all indicator lights will function).
