Summer 2010: Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop - Rivoli Theater

Little Shop... may seem like a fun, silly musical - and it is - but the lighting is extremely important to show change of time and attitude. Intense mood lighting prevails from Scene One and gets sharper as the play progresses. Subtle gobos for plant life and Skid Row gives a nice three-dimensional look. Cool lights (L201+R104, R54, R65, R121, R122) rule the design plot from many angles but are complimented by a natural warm (R02) and intense front-side warms (R21, R339, R34). Other important elements of this plot are specials detailing the growth of the plant and the death of certain characters.
